10 days ago there were epic waves in front of La Barra Surf camp. Truth be told, there are always epic waves (and all - day offshore wind) at our Nica digs, but these were of epic-er than normal proportions.
And odds are you missed it.
Like really, really missed it.
Stormwatch was in full effect.
And Camp Manager Alonso Vargas was ready to strike.
Surf guide Luis disappeared periodically.
And photog Jersson Barboza was in a wave - induced camera coma.
The stars all aligned for the group staying at La Barra this week.
Especially for RVCA x AST sweepstakes winners Nate, Andy and Tyler -
who went home with overflowing stoke meters and sore legs.
