SURF TOURS & COCONUTS BEACH RESORT
The island of Upolu in Western Samoa is a small island in the South Pacific with a land area of 1115sq km. The island is rich in lush tropical forests, waterfalls and beautiful beaches. The center of the island consists of mountainous hills, while the coast line is mostly beach, with some lava cliffs. The majority of the population lives around the coast, in villages or in the main town on the north coast, Apia. There are abundant opportunities for cultural exchanges, sight seeing, surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling and fishing among other water sports, as well as hiking and shopping for local handicrafts in the markets in Apia. Samoa is a great vacation destination for everyone; independent travelers, couples, groups and families!
Our luxury accommodations Coconuts Beach Club Resort & Spa truly embodies all that is unique and wonderful about culturally-rich Samoa. Coconuts offers Samoan-inspired accommodation, including Samoa’s only Over-the-Water Fales, and is ideally situated on Upolu’s southern coast, boasting amazing sunrise and sunset views. There are no high rises, no phones, and no TV’s. Perfectly located to explore all of the island’s sites and experiences, Coconuts offers many of the facilities and services you would expect from a much larger resort, with the heart and soul of a small, intimate retreat. With a warm and friendly staff, and surrounded by a traditional village, Coconuts provides a true taste of Samoa. Whether you are visiting for a Wedding or Honeymoon, a surf or dive adventure, a look into the ancient and exotic local culture, or a simple sun and sand holiday, Coconuts delivers a distinctive, relaxing, and casually elegant experience.
COCONUTS BEACH RESORT
All of the Suites, Fales and Villas were built using traditional design and materials found in Samoa. You will find local artwork and handicrafts in the accommodations, all of which are situated as to maximize the view towards the sandy beach and lagoon. Coconuts is a very casual resort. Our motto is: Life is too short to get dressed up for dinner! If you care to dress fancy, please feel free. However, casual and resort wear is appropriate at all times. We do ask that guests do not practice nude or topless sunbathing, as that is very much against local custom. Also, when visiting the local village, church, or town we ask that you respect local custom and dress conservatively
There is simply nothing more romantic than a stay in an Over water Bungalow in the tropical South Pacific, and Samoa Surfing.
